Demica is a Financial Services firm that provides working capital solutions via a SaaS platform to a wide range of major corporations and financial institutions.

They have been through three rounds of funding with their latest, Series C funding raising $30m.

We have worked with Demica for over 5 years and have been a key partner for their tech recruitment as the business has grown.

  • Demica were writing all of their code in VB.NET and were changing to Java. When we first started working with them, they had a team of 5 Developers, and after they received their first round of investment they needed a talent solution to scale their tech teams significantly, by over 50 hires


  • Our team of Talent Specialists worked closely with the Tech hiring community to create a much-improved recruitment process.  This included a more streamlined interview process, managing scheduling, getting multiple stakeholders in the business to meet the candidate to emphasise the importance of tech across the business, and tours around the office to provide an enhanced candidate experience
  • We also advised on how to change the interview process so it was less binary and more about experience, as well as fit with Demica’s values and culture. This was really valuable in identifying candidates who had broader skills which linked with their changing tech stack, such as architectural skills or migration skills
  • Our collaborative, high quality approach allowed us to grow Demica’s development team to over 50, and have helped grow multiple teams in technology and implementation, making over 75 hires
  • We have hired across a range of roles including Java Developers, Project Managers, Testing and QA, and Support Analysts
